About kyōdynamics

Kyōdynamics is a consultancy firm specialized on research and development of structural engineering projects, seismic science, and applied dynamics. Additionally, kyōdynamics provides complementary services such as structural and soil instrumentation, topography, architecture for infrastructure and heavy industry.

The academic part of the consultancy kyōdynamics Institute, develops useful and original continuing education courses for engineering/architectural practitioners.

Kyōdynamics (kyōdaɪˈnæmɪks) forms its name with the word Dynamics, a fundamental discipline in engineering, preceded by the Japanese word kyō (き ょ う). When pronounced together, the two-syllable phonetic approximation Kyōdai is produced, evoking the abbreviated Japanese name of the Kyoto University.

Kyōdynamics associates hold master’s and doctorate degrees from Kyoto University, Japan (Kyōdai, 京 大), and have performed extensive research published on specialized journals. Additionally, all of them have over fifteen years of experience as licensed professionals.

Currently, kyōdynamics headquarters are stablished in Mexico City, having liaison officers in USA, Japan and Colombia.
